Long Tang engaged in basic research on the neural basis using functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) as working in The Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) Research Fellowships for Young Scientists program. He contributed to the elucidation of temporal representation in the brain. After moving to NTT DATA Institute of Management Consulting, Inc., he formulated and implemented support projects for brain science and AI technology strategies, new business development support, and industry-academia collaborations. In his work, he has consistent experience from the phase of requirement definition to identify client issues to policy planning, technology development, and proof of concept.
